Composition
“Something Wild” was written for the disney film, Pete’s Dragona 2016 remake of the 1977 film. The film was released on August 12 with the song playing over the end credits.
In a video about Facebook live, Stirling confirmed that Disney approached her to compose a song for the remake, and she wrote “Something Wild” the same day.
Stirling sang the song on it Tour Brave Enough which started in late 2016. She also appeared in episode 15 of billboard Chart Center to play the song live.
