History
The Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior was first published in 2014 with Frederick P. Morgeson as founding editor. Previously, review articles about industrial and organizational psychology, organizational behaviorand human resource Management appeared infrequently in Annual Review of Psychology. Due to the large number of subdisciplines that fall under psychology, the Annual Reviews board of directors decided it would be beneficial to create a new psychology journal that would focus on these areas. Although it was initially published in print form, as of 2021 it is only published electronically.

As of 2022, Journal Citation Reports gives the magazine a 2021 impact factor of 12,553, ranking sixth out of 226 journal titles in the “Management” category and second out of 83 titles in “Psychology, Applied”.
